Nowadays British TV shows all look great, in fact many of them are better produced that some shows from the states.
However it wasn’t that long ago that a lot of shows from the BBC were a little on the cheap side.
Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace is a pitch perfect parody of the low budget Sci-Fi / Horror shows that came out of England, from the 60’s to the 90’s .
It’s also a mockumentary about a group of Narcissistic A-holes who are completely oblivious to that fact that they suck …
and by suck, I mean they are the worst !
Or maybe its a satire of the parody genre itself …
Honestly I don’t know .
what I can tell you is that its NOT for everyone , but if this weird type of humor is your cup of tea.
